Summer and Salmon season are in full swing and action has been steady in the local waters for chinook, coho and pink salmon. They have been biting on pretty much everything - hootchies, spoons and bait. A couple of combinations that have been working well for me are: the Gibbs-Delta Highliner Flasher with a Skinny G Outfitter spoon, and a green flasher with a chrome army truck teaser head and anchovie. Pinks have been active on hootchies. The weather has been spectacular, and the chinook fishing is only going to pick up. The additional opening of the Fraser mouth chinook opening coming soon on Sept 1 is something we all look forward to, and it looks like its shaping up to be a great season. Lets go fishing!
